Hi Everyone,
Currently we have a installation that we are implementing which has a Redhat (CentOS) machine running in a DMZ.
The office has a requirement that the CentOS system runs as a agent and relay as the Windows Machines on that side of the network will connect to this relay for patching.
We have completed the installation of the agent and relay on the CentOS machine, however we have come to what we believe is a possible issue how the Windows computers that will connect to that relay.
During the installation of the Windows agents we need to set the Windows agents to use that CentOS relay, we have modified the besclient.config file to include the 2 following lines with the IP Address of the Relay
_RelayServer1
_RelayServer2
However, under the TEM Console the Windows machines point to the current TEM Server. And we are not able to select the CentOS Relay when manually editing the primary and secondary relay under edit computer settings.
After some investigation we found 2 entries that we can modify in the Windows Registry that report under the TEM Console with the IP Address of the CentOS machine
Gatherurl
Servername
Is their any options that we can set in the besclient.config file or any settings that we can change on the Windows agents that we can roll out to the Windows deployment of all agents that will use that CentOS relay?
Thanks in advance
