Hi,

Is there a way of collating the descriptions of all the relevant fixlets for a particular bes site? I’ve been asked to put together a document with the names and fixlet descriptions of all the fixlets that are relevant for our standard 2008 server build. Can this be done?

Mark,

I see that you need the Name and Description (Body) of the Fixlets.

What is the filter criteria? Relevant Fixlets…

  • by an entire BigFix site, such as Patches for Windows?
  • by a single computer? Meaning filter by a specific computer name?

In any case, here is an example report for you.

<?relevance htmls (unique values of (it as string) of (h3 of name of it & message of it & html "
") of relevant fixlets whose (display name of site of it = "Patches for Windows (English)" and fixlet flag of it) of bes computers whose (name of it = "Name_of_2008_server")) ?>

For a single computer specified, it will list the relevant Fixlets in the Patches for Windows (English) site, and only Fixlets (not tasks or analysis).

Hi Lee,

Thanks for that, I’ll give it a try.

I should have explained myself a little more clearly - it’s relevant fixlets from a particular Site that that I was after. Specifically ‘SCM Checklist for DISA STIG on Windows 2008 Member Servers’.

I can then send this report to our Windows 2008 team who can look through all the issues and mark off those that have been fixed in Group Policy, those that will be fixed, etc,etc.
