Server Not Trusted message

(imported topic written by cstoneba)

For our BigFix 8.2.1079 consoles that are launched within our Citrix environment, everytime a user goes to login, they receive the message “The sercurity certificate used by … is not trusted…”. I konw getting this message for the first time would be expected, but not every time.

I haven’t recieved this message more than once from the console that runs off my laptop, so it is only Citrix related, and I’ve confirmed that the users profile in citrix is being kept because my custom managed property columns within the Computers section are still there are closing the console and reopening it.

After agreeing to trust a server, the console stores the masthead file for that server in the local application data directory (at C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\BigFix\Enterprise Console<server>\masthead.afxm on a basic windows 7 install). Is this directory not being preserved properly across Citrix sessions?

apparantley it isn’t, but I thought it was on <8.2. The location where profile data is stored didn’t change in 8.2, did it?

No that directory location hasn’t changed.

Was there ever a resolution to this? We’re using roaming profiles on our terminal server, so the %userprofile%\AppData\Local folder is deleted at logoff and not saved with the roaming profile. Is there a way to just disable the message?
