Server failing to gather (Some) Sites

I have been trying to gather two sites [patching support and enterprise security].

The server is connected to the internet through a configured proxy, and I was able to gather other sites.

However, these two sites are failing to gather, I have tried using the airgap tool to gather, and it says sites are gathered are updated with the latest versions, but nothing is changing on the console once the the response is consumed.

Server is installed on a linux.

can somebody guide me to the right direction to go about solving this, thanks!

Try switching to gathering over https. The proxy is likely blocking some of the downloads.

I have BESGather_Use_Https set to 1.

And I also tried gathering using Airgap.sh with -usehttps but i’m getting this error

ERROR: Execution terminated with: HTTP Error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer: Received HTTP code 503 from proxy after CONNECT

Can you tell whether that’s coming from your proxy or from bigfix.com? Try opening the gather urls in a browser and see the result.

I’ve tried sync.bigfix.com software.bigfix.com gatherer.bigfix.com and they all open fine in the browser.
I can wget from the server as well.

I don’t know what else to say, but to open a PMR and also continue working with your firewall and proxy admins, because something appears to be blocking you.
