Title: Senior Systems Engineer- Big Fix
Location: Washington, DC
Job Description:
The IT Security Engineer will be involved in architecting, designing and implementing an Enterprise Solution using the Big Fix Core, Console and Web Servers as well as the DSS Software Asset Module. The IT Security Engineer will document and articulate the environment through detailed design documents and implementation plans.
Job Responsibilities:
• Implement the Big Fix product for vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Using a DMZ relay for off network asset control.
• Communicate effectively including but not limited to being comfortable in presenting solutions and recommendations to senior management.
• Document and articulate the environment through detailed design documents and implementation plans.
Job Qualifications:
• Experience with patch management and image creation and deployment (i.e. SCCM, LANDesk, Altiris, etc.).
• Background with scripting language is a + (i.e. C#, C++, .NET, Perl, VB, etc.).
• Understands vulnerability assessment and remediation also a plus.
• Needs to have a strong initiative and willingness to get involved.
• Experience setting up policy and customization with the Big Fix Relevance language and the creation of Fixlets is a plus.
• Ability and experience with the deployment of agents to multiple sites and distributed management is a plus.
• Experience with the Big Fix product for vulnerability assessment and remediation is a plus.
• Possess technical abilities in architecting, designing and implementing an Enterprise Solution using the Big Fix Core, Console and Web Servers as well as the DSS Software Asset Module is a plus.
• Experience customizing and establishing web reports is a plus.

Skill Sets desired:
Experience with (Patching tools): Altiris, LANDesk, SCCM, WSUS, Tivoli
Experience with (Vulnerability Assessment): Foundstone, Nessus, eye Retina, Gold Disk
Experience with (Scripting): C#, C+, JAVA, Visual Basic, .NET
Experience with Package Deployments: Desktop (XP, Vista, Windows 7), Software distribution
Experience with SQL 2005, Active Directory
Degree Preferred: Bachelors Degree
