Schedule deployment on Linux machine with preload of data

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

We are going to deploy an update of our product at a lot of Linux computers for a customer. We are using TEM for that but the customer have some network problem(slow network). My thought then was to schedule the job some days before and let all clients have some days to dowmload the file and store them locally waiting to be executed. I have tried this with chosing “Start client downloads before constraints are satisfied” from take action but it doesn´t work well. I can see that the client starts to download the file but then says “JobDiskLimited - try again in 10 minutes”. I tried to do the same with another package on a Windows machine and that works as I expected, the computers starded to download the file and when it was time to execute the action it started to do that immediately. Is this function only for Windows machines?
