Reporting by Fixlet and Percentages

(imported topic written by jr6591)

I am using the All Fixlets report and filtering the report for 1 fixlet (ie. MS06-070). I get a report back that specifies that fixlet and gives me info such as Affected Computers, Remediated Computers, Action Deployed, etc.

I am looking for a way to give me percentages instead of a count and I’d like to see it broken down by O/S (Windows XP, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows 2000 Server, etc)

Name Affected Remediated Deployed Percentage Patched Percentage Not-Patched

MS06-070: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows 2000 SP4 # # # # % # %

Is there a better way or is there a better report?

Many thanks

jr,

Try an ‘Issue Assessment’ report. You’ll find it under the ‘Create’ section of web reports and you should be able to filter it to just your 1 Fixlet, and you’ll be able to breakdown your computers however you’d like.

Thanks Jesse. That reports works good. I set a filter and selected all my O/S 's. When I create the report, it does NOT break down by O/S.

I’d like to see the breakdown by O/S.

Thanks

jr,

After you click on ‘Issue Assessment’ on the create report page, you are taken to a page where you select which Fixlets to include and some other settings. At the top of the page, you can use the 3 select boxes to chose how the results are sorted. If you want to sort by OS, select the OS retrieved property in the first box. If you want to further sort by another property, use the second box. Same for the third.
