Report Needed based on Fixlets already grouped in a Baseline

(imported topic written by curth)

I am looking for a way to create a Web Report that will show me what fixlets from a specific set of Baselines are relevant for systems. I have found a way to do this by selecting individual fixlets, however, I have already grouped these in the BES Console into convenient Baselines. I don’t want to have to do this grouping twice. Can I do this?

I have tried creating a “Computer Properties” report. I don’t select any Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary properties but I do select “Include relevant Fixlets”. I then try to setup a filter to select specific baselines. In the “Create Filter” page, there is a selection for “Fixlet/Task/Baseline/Analysis”. I selected the baselines that I want to report against and then generated the report. However, there are no fixlets showing as relevant for any of my systems.

Lee Wei has some pretty cool reports that he built for this… Check out:

Ben,

Thanks for those links. Lee’s report (id=4307) is close to what I need, however, I want to be able to select multiple baselines to report against. I have different baselines for various operating systems. If I can select all the baselines, then I can get a single report against my entire enviornment.

Thanks.

Hey curt,

We would need to modify the report and it is not trivial to do that… I can ask Lee Wei about it…

Curt,

I have heard similar request for my other reports, which is the ability to multi-select the filter list.

Seems like a worthy enhancement with broad applicability.

I have been looking at a suitable widget to do that over the weekend, and I should have something soon.

Curt,

I have updated the Compliance Report to include multi-select.

Please download the zip file from that post.
