I am wondering if Big Fix gathers data about all installed software on the clients. If so, are there any custom reports out there that could be used to pull an inventory of all installed software in my environment?
Yes ! there is an analysis “Application Information (WIndows)” under BFI, you can also use it generate report from webreport.

There are also many analyses on BigFix.Me to help with this, and custom relevance that could be written to do more.
Look at the regapps inspector. You can also pull all of the data from “add/remove programs” from the uninstall keys in the registry.
