Repair BESClient using setup.exe

As there are known issues in InstallShield 11 creasted MSI’s for Vista 64 (http://forum.bigfix.com/viewtopic.php?id=3276), I was wondering if anyone can provide command line switches that can be used with setup.exe to silently install/re-install an existing BES client installation.

Based on obvious options, setup.exe /s /r seems to do the trick but I was hoping to get confirmation that this the correct approach. The preference is to avoid creating a process that has to detect if BES is currenlty installed, perofrm an uninstall then do a new install.

Hey Rob,

Those options seem correct, and I believe the agent will reinstall itself when run silently… So it looks like you are on the right track…
