Relivance Code - WMI Query - Windows Error: Invalid class

(imported topic written by Matt.Johnson)

I am trying to run a relivance query against WMI.

My code is:

(concatenation of (string values of selects “ProtectionStatus from Win32_EncryptableVolume” of wmi) as lowercase contains “0” as lowercase )

The reply is:

Error: The expression could not be evaluated: Windows Error: Invalid class

Where am I going wrong here?

Thanks for any help…

That class isn’t in the default namespace (root\CIMV2), so you need to specify the namespace in the relevance:

concatenation of (string values of selects “ProtectionStatus from Win32_EncryptableVolume” of wmi “\root\CIMV2\Security\MicrosoftVolumeEncryption”) as lowercase contains “0” as lowercase

You can look into the BitLocker Management labs (In BigFix Labs) site for more detailed relevance queries related to what you are doing.
