Odd one… I’ve built a package to remove Trend Micro… The relevance is very simple, it runs fine in QNA/Fixlet debugger, and I can push that package to “targeted” machines - all works well… Except that the relevance count for this task is stuck at Zero !!! How can this be ? I know it’s relevant on most PCs, each time I test this by installing QNA on a target PC is reports “true” and like I said I can push to them by targeting them by name, so why do I have a zero relevance count ? Anyone seen this before ?
Sort of answering my own question here, might help someone else… Those tasks (showing no relevance) were built as modified custom copies from another old task used in the past (why reinvent the wheel, almost identical relevance and action). The BF logs showed something about skipping those relevance gatherings…
I created a brand new task, copied the relevance and actions into it, and that one reported 6000 computers “relevant” immediately… So, in doubt, don’t use “custom copy” too much… (that, or there’s something rotten in our DB)
I am not sure if I can think of any reason that this would be related to “custom copy”… perhaps it is related to which site (perhaps a custom site?) that you copied it into?
