I need to build a query task with which an administrator is able to query al relevant and not relevant fixlets for a certain target.
The target can be one computer or a active directory group with computers in it.
This is what i use to query the fixlets for a certain site and for a certain computer:
names of relevant fixlets whose (name of site of it = “” and <task / fixlet> flag of it) of bes computers whose (name of it as lowercase = “”)
Could you please help me?
Many thanks in advance.

Is the active directory information only retrievable from a client which is member of a domain and not directly from IBM BigFix to the Domain Controller?

Everything is reported from the clients, but then those reports can be queried through session relevance in webreports or in the console.
I believe it is already possible in the console to filter things based upon AD groups.

Is this going to be run from a BigFix Console, from Web Reports, or what?
Not having a console in front of me right now, isn’t there a way from the Computers view to filter by active directory?
Otherwise, you should be able to create Automatic Groups in the console, and tie the BES group membership to Active Directory group membership.
