Relay's running out of disk space in download directory

We have some relays that have 500GB of disk space on drive E, and there is quite of bit of stuff in e:\BigFix Enterprise\BES Relay\wwwrootbes\bfmirror\downloads\sha1, some dating back to August 2015. Are there some settings that need to be in place that will help with clean up of old content?

The _BESGather_Download_CacheLimitMB setting on the relay should be less than what you have for physical space, which you can set via the BES Relay / BES Server Setting: Download Cache Size task (ID 148).

BigFix Labs if you’ve enabled it has a great cache manager as well.

Generally, you should not have to worry about it and it will clean out old stuff when cache limits are reached.
