Relay download not work

(imported topic written by var91)

hi @all,

I have a strange phenomenon.

Today I wanted to distribute my own created Fixlet “Planta 1.0 - Installation” on a Windows 7 Client. The Fixlet was running perfectly last week.

I started the distribution with a message popup, but nothing happens.

The state is always pending…

I create a new fixlet with the Software Wizard in the console with the same msi File and the same installation commands.

If I start the distribution again. Nothing happens and the state is always “Pending Downloads”

This is the hole logfile from the Windows 7 Client -->

Take focus on:

Relevant - Planta 1.0 - Installation (fixlet:1080)

I test another Fixlet “Internet Explorer 9 - Installation” it works fine over the same relay!!!

Than I look at the relay and saw --> /var/opt/BESRelay/wwwrootbes/bfmirror/downloads/sha1/02607cb11b3486a515ca2c061dd8d3fae48723df

it is the same as for the Internet Explorer Fixlet, see in 20110325.log File.

Than I search for the number for the Fixlet “Planta 1.0 - Installation” --> on the Linux RH “find / -iname c49766a19378a940b937c915410e5fb35ab9fe82” there is nothing found…and so in the TEM Console the state of my distribution is “Pending Downloads” since 1 hour.

That means other Fixlets work find over the same relay and the Fixlet “Planta 1.0 - Installation” have a problem.

Please help me.

Thanks

This means that the relay doesn’t have the download yet. Check the status of the action in the Console. Does the action say that the download is cached on the server?
