Red Hat has announced end of support and distribution for Oracle Java. Customers using Oracle Java on their RHEL systems will no longer be able to obtain the relevant packages from Red Hat.
Who is affected:
Users with RHEL systems that contain Oracle Java packages.
Action to take:
BigFix patch content in the Patches for RHEL sites have been modified such that the Oracle Java Fixlets will now require a custom repository that contains the relevant packages in order to successfully deploy the Fixlet. Customers who wishes to continue patching Oracle Java on their RHEL systems using BigFix will require setting up a custom repository with the relevant Oracle Java packages.
