Question regarding Installing Nmap Asset Discovery Import Service

Running TEM 8.2. I’m trying to implement System Life Cycle for application deployment. I undestand that I need to

Install Nmap Asset Discovery Import Service - BES >= 7.0 before I can Designate Nmap Scan Point.

I’ve started the Install Nmap Asset Discovery and unfortunately I am stuck, the current Status is “Pending Download”.

It’s been more than 24 hours now since I started the Action. Is it normal that it takes too long to download and complete the

process? or somehow there’s something wrong with the install. Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it.

First I’d try looking at the actionscript for that particular fixlet. It looks like the download link is this:

http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/misc/UnmanagedAssetImporter-NMAP-8.0.0.271.exe

I’m not sure if this link was down a week ago, but I’m able to download that executable manually now. Are you still having problems with pending download for that particular task?
