Is there any way to determine what triggers the specific reason why a given computer would report itself to BigFix as needing a restart NOT triggered from a BES action?
We have a policy in place that will reboot any computer (regardless if it is because of a BES action or not) that requires one during a certain window at night and there are some computers that reboot every night as a result of this policy. I have been asked by some of the area technicians to see if BigFix is able to determine exactly what kicks off this request so that we can effectively troubleshoot the issue and stop the need for these nightly restarts.
I have seen instances in the past where a machine would reboot every single night but after it was re-imaged the need for a nightly reboot stopped.
I appreciate any help that you might be able to provide.
Thanks!
