The AIX Client Inspector Guide (pg 89) makes reference to vendor and revision within the product object within the object repository.

Along with names (unique values of names of products of object repository) I’d like to concatenate vendor and revision to better identify installed system software on AIX.

I’ve tried unsuccessfully to obtain vendor and revision from the object repository.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get vendor and revision from the product object in the object repository on AIX?

I’ve got this relevance on AIX to return name and version.

q (unique values of names of it, unique values of versions of filesets of it) of products of object repository

a BESClient, 7.2.5.22

a Tivoli_Management_Agent.client, 3.7.1.0

a tivoli.tsm.client.oracle.tools.aix.64bit, 5.3.3.0

Haven’t found a way to return vendor info.
