Hi,
I’m trying to configure the email settings on the Web Reports. I’m assured that our corporate smtp server has been configured and that I am entering the correct smtp server name. I’ve checked that our BigFix server can ping the smtp server - all OK there.
However, when I do a ‘Test’ email I get the following error:-
Background process “BESEmailer.exe” returned non-zero exit code 10049: could not connect to the server. at BESEmailer.pl line 51.
(I’ve attached the source from the error page that is displayed.)
I believe that this has something to do with addressing.
I’ve sent test emails manually from the BigFix server and the mail gets delivered OK.
Can the BESEmailer.exe be run from a dos prompt with arguments and, if possible, some kind of debug to find out where the actual failure is?
