Problem with sending files to AIX7.1 endpoints

I’m using TEM 8.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. I have TEM client installed and running on AIX7.1 endpoint. In TEM console, I can see the AIX endpoint appear at Subscribed Computers. When I add files to send to the endpoint, the file never arrived at the endpoint. The /var/opt/BESClient/__BESData/CustomSite_PSU/ remains like the following after one hour of waiting:

ls /var/opt/BESClient/__BESData/CustomSite_PSU

__Download __Local

Besides, there’s no /BESClient directory under /var/log/ and no besclient.log anywhere either.

I have tested it on two different AIX7.1 endpoints. The behavior was the same. However, when testing on AIX6.1, it was all goodã€‚

Any idea what’s going on? How can I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, AIX 7.1 is not officially supported at the moment, so that might be your problem.

So is there an estimate time frame when AIX7.1 will be supported? Thanks.

Hopefully, support for 7.1 will be available around the end of the year, but you’ll have to contact the sales team or support team to get a more solid answer.
