When I run an action and configure it I’m also adding pre and post execution action scripts. I then save that action as a preset but it seems that the action scripts are not saved. Whenever I create a new action with that same preset, the settings I configured are there but the scripts are not.
Is there something I’m missing? Why does it happen?
An action preset only includes settings on the Execution, Users, Messages, Offer, and Post-Action tabs. This is indicated in the body of the Save Action Preset dialog box where you type the name and whether to make the preset available to all operators.
If you wish to also capture the Action Script and Post-Action settings, you will need to create a Fixlet or Task, and apply your Preset when you take action on the Fixlet or Task.
