Hi, in our patch environment we cache all relevant patches on systems due to a short maintenance window; we are unable to cache fixlets with 00- in front of their IDs, e.g. custom copy of of an existing fixlet or a custom fixlet. Used all available options in the precache wizard enterprise security etc., none can pick these custom fixlets and cache on the clients.

Hi tazmir,
There is a new option in BigFix 8.0 in the Take Action Dialog that tells the agent to pre-cache the file before it is time to run the action. This is designed exactly for the scenario you mention for the agent pre-cache the file before it is time to run in the maintenance window.
