Policy?

(imported topic written by johnism91)

Is there a way I can set a task as a policy and then have another task excludes certain machines?

So I am deploying to everyone and then one person wants to be excluded and then I could add them to this other task .

Or should make a group that just puts it back to what it was ?

Does that question make sense?

Thanks ,

John

You can create an ‘exclusion group’ and then do this when you run the Action for your policy:

from what I can tell is you can not add to the group after it is created ( am I wrong ) ?

So I create a group that has machine xyz fine that works now I want to add machine abc to the group also …

ah looks like you have to under the machine s… I was able to add more machines

ok so that works …but what is weird is the ones I added to the group to be avoided return a status as not relevant which is fine because it did not deploy , but the ones that it deploys to successfully return as failed???
