Please participate in the TEM/BigFix customer engagement program!

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

I’d like to invite you to become more involved in the design of upcoming platform and application features. The BigFix/TEM team will be working on a variety of exciting platform and application features over the next year, and we’d like our customers to give us feedback on our designs. We will be conducting design reviews of product architecture and UI designs, recruiting participants for usability studies, and advertising various beta programs.

The first session, tentatively scheduled for

Tuesday June 5th at 9am Pacific time

(a week from today), will be a design review of the work we’re doing around virtualization. You can that to be followed by conversations around OS Deployment, Software Distribution, Automation, and of course our next platform release.

We’ll be driving this through the same DeveloperWorks platform our Wiki and Forums are on. After you sign our Beta agreement, you’ll be invited to the DeveloperWorks forum through which all communication will occur.

If you’re interested, please sign the beta agreement available at the following link:

We’ve been having some problems with the registration site, which have hopefully cleared up by now. People who were able to sign up should receive an invite to new group by Monday. Because of the issues, we’re going to postpone the virtualization design session for a week. However, next

Friday (June 8th) at 9am pacific time

we will have a design review session around some exciting work being done on automation. So if you’re interested in sequencing Fixlets, please sign off on the agreement linked to above and join the meeting next week.

If you have any questions about this program, please post them here.
