Persistent connection to DMZ relays

Are there any benefits to enabling this feature if we already have relays in a DMZ that allow 52311 traffic through its firewall?

I know it allows the parent relay to talk down to the dmz relay but is there anything else that would make this feature a must-have ?

Thx

Hello, the primary purpose of the persistent TCP connection is to allow the communication between parent relay and child relay inside the DMZ network. I don’t see additional benefits if you have the firewall configured to allow the Bigfix traffic. May be a negligible improvement in the connection performance as the persisten connection is used for multiple HTTP requests.
