Patching Yocto using BigFix Lifecycle?

Today I came across this OS called Yocto, it is an embedded Linux, designed for IoT. Does anyone have any information on the feasibility of using BigFix Lifecycle to patch this OS?

Any relevant information in this area is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How are patches for it distributed? What package manager (if any) does it in utilize?

Well it really depends on what’s this distro is based on for example if its based on ubuntu then you can try the ubuntu client but I dont think it will detect it correctly + also most of the patches will be “not relevant” since it will probably show Yocto in the OS Property.

Maybe try to offer support for it in the bigfix ideas site.
