Patches showing applicable

Hello

We have applied some actions on the endpoints and the patches we have applied becomes Not Relevant but still all these patches are showing as an applicable one.

What could be the possible reasons for the same??

We have tried re-installing the BES Client , starting stopping the services , etc.

Mayank

Hi Mayank,

Have you cleared console cache? Or tried to re-subscribe the site?

When you said “becomes Not Relevant”, were you referring to the status in client log?

Sylvia

@sylvia

Yes we have cleared the console cache and re - subscribing the site means…Is it re subscribe entire patch for windows site???

No i have checked the console action status , there i checked the show action info it is giving Not Relevant status.

@Mayank

Can you please post what Error you’re getting after taking action.
That can be done by seeing Show Action Info and you can see at what line you’re getting the Error.

No error we are getting its simply giving the status as Not relevant . But not able to find why it is showing as an applicable one .

Hi Mayank,

Yes, I meant to say re-subscribing the entire Patches for Windows site.

If the “Not Relevant” was given in Action info, it basically means console is showing incorrect evaluation results. It is not an issue with the Fixlet relevance.

Please try to re-subscribe if not too troublesome.

Sylvia

I’ve seen this on very rare occasions and I find can sometimes be fixed by sending a force refresh action to the endpoint.
