Patch Management in a Change Management workflow

Hi everybody,

We are working in a RFP and we need to create a scenario to answer the item below:

  • Allow the Native Client Operating System Update Process (Patch) only occurs (automatically) after being approved a change request, which will be opened automatically as soon as the repository of patches receiving new entry.

Is it possible to generate a web report to check new patches (fixlets) published in TEM and after that send an e-mail to open a Change Request in Tivoli Service Request Manager - TSRM (we know it’s possible to open this request using e-mail)?

Once the Change Request was approved, there’s some way to install those patches (fixlets) automatically from TSRM?

If those actions are possible, could anyone help me to customize a small scenario to show it to customer?

Hi Igor,

It sounds like you are looking for an integration with Change Ticket Management Systems. You should check with the BigFix/TEM Services team.
