Out of sync fixlet in baseline, do I need to re-send action?

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Sorry for what must be a borderline retarded question, but if I make a change to a currently deployed baseline or re-sync with source, do I need to stop an open action that is based on this baseline and re-send it once change(s) took place? Or will BF automatically detect the changes in the source baseline and deliver and apply those to the client automatically?

Thanks!

yes, you need to stop your deployed action, and repush your baseline.

Thanks cstone! Is this an issue across versions (we’re on 7.x) or 8.x has a smarter way of dealing with updated baselines on the fly?

That is the behavior in 8 as well. You are essentially updating your baseline with new components which need to be authorized by you to deploy.

Thanks Stacy! I get the authorization part, I just wish there was a way to update source component(s) that are part of the active baseline and have client pick up the change and apply it without me stopping and redeploying entire baseline.
