We have a baseline for Adobe Reader updates, and by default it’s adding them to the baseline with the older versions at the top, and the newer versions at the bottom. Will this result in a machine getting each one of the installed consecutively, or is it smart enough to know to install the latest version in the baseline? Are we required to micro-manage the order of installation to make sure the newest version is installed first, in the event a machine is relevant for both?
Baselines are ordered and the agent evaluates the Fixlets in the baseline one at a time. So the ordering will matter and if the order is backwards, it could potentially lead to installing each version…
But why not just remove the older Adobe updates when you add a new one?
