New update to BigFix Software Distribution and the Self-Service Application: site 109

The BigFix team is pleased to announce an update to Software Distribution and the Self Service Application.

Reasons for Update

New OS support:

  • Support Self Service Application (SSA) on macOS 11 (Big Sur) for both Intel and M1 architectures.

Fixed issues:

  • KB0085033: Self Service Application - Help message hides the bottom row of offers.
  • KB0085237: Self Service Application - Messaging problems with baseline action groups.
  • KB0089482: Self Service Application - Tab indexing issue on Catalog.
  • KB0087035: Self Service Application - Title or category are not shown.

Actions to Take

  • Gathering of the site will automatically show the new updates.

  • Users of the BigFix Self Service Application will need to update this component to version 3.2.0 using the following fixlets from Software Distribution site:

    • Fixlet 302 to upgrade SSA for Windows.
    • Fixlet 304 to upgrade SSA for Mac OS.
