I noticed a newer version being used in one of the wizards, which isn’t documented on the URL that Tyler gave.

Seems it’s downloading a 2.0.2 version:

http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/util/RunAsCurrentUser-2.0.2.exe

The fixlet is also running it using --q, rather than --w. Running it with a /? shows…

Usage: RunAsCurrentUser

–w

–q

–w: RunAsCurrentUser only returns after returns

–q: RunAsCurrentUser runs

Looks like there’s some info missing on the help for --q?

Paul, you are quite observant and always finding the newest tricks…

Here is the latest changes between the 2.0 and 2.0.2 version:

2.0.1

  • Fixed bug #14957, RACU doesn’t have STDOUT.

2.0.2

  • Fixed bug #17881: Added a --q option to launch the app quietly.
  • Gave it a BigFix icon
