The Itanium ones aren’t supported.

The rest of the November .NET patches are the same as the Previews released in October, which already exist in the BigFix console.

The patches simply have a new KB number assigned to them which the team will append to the existing fixlets but the content is already there.

Thanks! Will the fixlets be renamed? I generally don’t deploy things marked as ‘Preview’ into operations…

Yes, they will be renamed to remove the ‘Preview’, similar to what was done with last month’s .NET content.

Thanks for the info. Do you know why the .NET patches are not released immediately like other OS security patches?

Hi Manish,

If the .NET patches are security updates, meaning they are part of the security patches for Patch Tuesday, then they will be released at the same time.

This month, they were not so there will generally be more lag time before they are released.
