I need steps and guidance to perform Physical to Virtual movement of production infrastructure in Bigfix. We have one root and a 1 DSA and need how can we perform the movement from P to V. If someone has performed the movement from physical server to Virtual server then please share some experience or best practice to be followed.
Challenges facing:-1:
Custom content is hard coded to use root server and therefore cannot be changed to point to new virtual server.
All new servers are default registering with root so cannot be changed to register to other server name (licensing issue).
