MS Patch Non Applicanbilty Reason

Hi All,

One of my customer is asking for reason behind non-applicability of any patch for a particular server during that particular time of deployment for maintaining the audit purpose through BigFix.

Is there any way out we can have reason why a particular MS-Patch is not applicable for a particular machine. I know there can be many reasons for a patch to be non-applicable for a particular reason but is there any way out to show those reasons as well.

Please suggest…

Well the best reason is the relevance code. This decides if the patch is applicable or not.If you want to check find out exactly what is missing you can use the QNA relevance client on the server you want to check. I am not sure if there is a easier way than this.
