Missing Visio 2000 in Web Reports

Hi,

in the TEM Console the standard Analyse “Version Detection Visio Windows” lists Visio 2000 but in the Web Report the Visio 2000 Installations are not listed. All later Versions are ok.

Hi Andreas,

I see in my Console that I have a “BES Inventory and License” site with an Analysis “Microsoft Visio Version Detection (Windows)” and a property “Version(s) of Visio”.

Web Reports is reading from the same database, so we would expect the data to be exactly the same.

Can you verify what is the Manage Property that you can looking at in the Console, and how you are viewing that in Web Reports?

Hi,

yes we use the “Microsoft Visio Version Detection (Windows)” and in the Console it shows it correct:

but in the Web Reports in the report “Installed Applikations” Visio 2000 is missing:

The report that you are using is using the “Installed Applications - Windows” property from the “Application Information (Windows)” analysis.

The property that is picking up Visio 2000 is a different property call “Version(s) of Visio” from the “Microsoft Visio Version Detection (Windows)” analysis.

I see that it has additional intelligence to pick up information from an inspector call “Regapp” beyond just looking at the Add/Remove Program registry.

So ultimately, we are looking at 2 different properties.
