I was just checking the Deployment Health Checks and then the console, relay, and client versions for my installation. I have some missing tasks to install the latest versions of clients and relays.
The Tivoli Endpoint Manager Console is at version 8.2.1312.0. Most relays were still at version 8.2.1310.0 (all relays except the BES Server). Some clients are still at 8.2.1310.0 as well. I manually updated the relays by installing 8.2.1312.0. Under BES Deployment Upgrade, I do not have a task for “Install Tivoli Endpoint Manager Relay (8.2.1312.0)”. I do not have a task to install that version of the client as well. I do have the tasks to install the 8.2.1310.0 version.
For troubleshooting I checked the manual upgrade instructions to see if I needed to run them again. I downloaded the TEM Installation Generator, but when I run it I do not have an upgrade option. I do not have the option to upgrade the TEM Server as well when I attempt to run setup.exe from the installation folders. I found a post about importing previous versions of upgrade installers from an archive, but how do I fix my issue? Do I need to import current installation tasks again?
The 8.2.1312 update was for Servers only which is why that is the only item available as fixlets. The health check should not be complaining about that so we will look at that part.
The clients (except for OS X) are maxed out currently at 8.2.1310
Ok. Thank you. All realys are now showing 8.2.1312.0. It was confusing. I do have some clients showing version 8.2.1312.0. Most client versions are showing 8.2.1310.0 though. Should those clients not be showing that version then?
So is there anything that can be done to keep the Dashboard from showing up as Warning status for the Relays? I like to keep my dashboard green as much as possible and since the upgrade we did this week we are now getting this dashboard check triggered.
