'Missing' remediation script GEN003140

Hi All,

Does anyone know why there is no remediation script for GEN003140 for RHEL 4 & 5? There is one for RHEL 3 and for AIX and Solaris!

This was caused by an oversite during the initial development process (a bug).

We have added the remediation code to the RedHat 4 and RedHat 5 sites.

I will post here again once the content becomes available. My target for this is currently “by Feb 17 2011”

Thanks Jeff. Are you still the best person to talk to regarding any SCM issues? Do you still have a ‘scm@bigfix.com’ (or similar) that I can contact or has it all changed with the move to IBM?

I’m about to begin creating our next mid-range SCM baseline. If I do find any issues, how would you prefer I let you know?

We released a patch release this morning of the Unix SCM sites that address the missing remediation scripts.

At this point I am probably the best person to contact re: the non-windows SCM content. I will send you an email with my direct email and phone. Thanks for your patience while we addressed this issue.
