Hi

Does anyone know the reason why bigfix doesn’t report this patch “MS10-045: Description of the security update for Outlook 2003”, as relevant, against a 2003 server but MBSA does. also, if I run windows update on the server it reports the patch as well??

I know that MBSA and Bigfix report differently, but i need to give a reason to the boss.

Are you familiar with the “Office: Office 2003 Deployment Control” tasks?

These are Tasks in the BES Support site where we indicate the deployment options for Office.

Without running them first, the MS Office 2003 related Fixlets will not get evaluated correctly.

If you have them turned on, maybe you can tell us which is the exact Fixlet with the problem, and someone might spot any errors.

Hi Lee

Yep that was my first thought. So when I deployed it, the server reported not relevant.

The patch is as I said, but not sure which fixlet is meant to apply for this one.
