Microsoft released Security Bulletin MS06-055 and re-released Security Bulletin MS06-049 out of band earlier today. MS06-055 addresses the Vector Markup Language (VML) vulnerability in Internet Explorer (CVE-2006-4868) previously announced in Microsoft Security Advisory 925568. Security Bulletin MS06-049 was re-released to address an issue caused by the original version of the security update.
Fixlet messages have been published to the “Enterprise Security” site that cover the new and re-released updates.
