Microsoft Security Center does not recognize Trend Micro

Our enviroment consists of the following:

OS = Vista Enterprise 32 and 64 bit

BigFix Client Version 7.2***

Trend Micro Malware software Virus Scan Engine 9.120.1004

Of course we have current Virus patterns definition]

Why doesn’t Microsoft Security Center recognize our Malware software? (Specifically Virus protection and Spyware)

Is this normal or is there a fix out there. See attachment for screen shot.

Hi Albert,

Thanks for providing the environment and version details.

We’ve seen this occur in the specific case where CPM clients are upgraded from build 1020 to build 1040. From your screen shot, it looks like the affected client is currently on CPM build 1040 so this is likely the issue. We have a Fixlet to resolve this and the best way to get it would be to open a support case with our team.
