Merging BigFix installations

I’m sure someone here has merged BigFix installations, right? What’s involved? I can think of several things, but I’m not clear on the how and sequence of each…

Migrate the licenses between Passport accounts, rejigger the BigFix licensing, migrate the endpoints do the new root servers…

I filed a PMR for advise, but I’d also like to hear what customers have done.

It’s just like any other service migration – planning, implementation roadmap, set aside time to do testing.

It really depends on how much is being done in BigFix and how big the environments are. You might be as lucky as just being able to switch the mastheads and restart the services!
