Any reports yet on performance impacts on BES Server or Relay related to meltdown patching and firmware?

There seems to be limited performance impact data available in general for Meltdown. The following article does have some general guidance.

Thanks. Since all the benchmarks rely “on your specific workload”, I am curious about people’s experiences specific to the BES Server/Relay workload.

re. “Will there be a performance impact from the necessary patches?” Given these patches imply a basic change in processor and operating system optimization approaches, it is generally acknowledged there will be some impact. However, the degree of impact is dependent upon a wide range of variables, ranging from hardware, through configuration, and workload.

For BigFix, reference benchmarks are in process to provide sample data points across the BigFix stack, as well as field collateral to assist customers with performance insight for their BigFix installations. Thx.
