I am an LDAP user, authenticated by an MS Active Directory server
I am designated as Master Operator
Alongside myself, 2 other coworkers are also designated as Master Operators
When they log into the BigFix console and select this particular server, they both see 20+ relevant tasks and fixlets, one of which is to install a relay server on a linux machine.
When I login to the console, I can only see 6 fixlets & tasks and relay install task is not one of them.
Compared settings of both those colleagues Master Operator settings/permissions to mine and found absolutely nothing different.
I logged out of all instances and have my colleague remove my user id from BigFix totally and re-add it as MO from the start (previously it was set from Master Operator : No -> to Yes)
Still no change. 6 fixlets & tasks
Logged out, logged back in as bfadmin0. No change. 6 fixlets & tasks
Logged out, logged in as my own ID, but using a relay server instead of my own laptop (via RDP) still no change.
I want to submit a PMR to IBM, but myt manager is out this week and she is the only one with the IBM customer ID to add myself as a new user or connect one of my old IBM id’s to my new workplace.
Does anyone have any clue why this is happening ? I mean some MOs see more content than another ? And how do I fix it ?
