Hi,
I was wondering if it’s possible to give each administrator a specific number of computers to manage and scan and generate reports only based on these computers, the administrator should not be able to manage the rest of endpoints.
Another question, by using BigFix Protection, is it possible to send emal notifications when a computer get infected ? If yes then how ?
Hi @ayoubbahar
First question: yes, but depends on how you configured your environment. You can create custom sites and give the users only access to those custom site. Or if you create your users, you can chose which computers you can assign to that user. There you can chose which computer groups a user can see/use. (But I do think the user need to be subscribed to the site also where the computer group is member of).
Second question: i’m struggling on that too. You can generate an email notification when a report changes with Web Reports, but so far I didn’t manage to get it working. + besides that, let’s be honest, the reporting of CPM is really bad. So if you find a solution, please share. I’ll do this too when I find something
Hi @ayoubbahar
I’ve received official statement of IBM Support that CPM does NOT have email notifications (which is ridiculous for anti virus program, but that’s another discussion).
I’m working on a powershell script that uses the rest api to have a email notification when a new virus is detected on a computer.
Greetings.
