Kaspersky AV putting BES Client in quarantine

Hi there,

One of our customers is trying 30 days Free BigFix, and they are facing problems installing BES Client in workstations with Kaspersky AV. Kaspersky is putting BES Client in quarantine, so the client is not starting “normally” and are not reporting informations to BES Server.

Does anybody faced some similar problem? Any tip to avoid that?

Does Kapersky tell you why it is putting our agents in quarantine? It seems like a pretty mean thing for them to do :slight_smile:

As a general rule, BigFix should be excluded from AV scanning. It’s supposed to be doing what it does after all. http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=1656
