Hello all,
I am new to BigFix and still working on my learning curve, but I have an Issue trying to push out the latest Java update. Everytime I attempt to download it I get an error saying it is bad address. So looking at the fixlet It seems that I have to manually download this to the BES cache folder? Could someone give me a basic rundown of how I would go about pushing this update out to my workstations?

You need to download “jre-6u18-windows-i586.exe” from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp and save it to the “C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\wwwrootbes\bfmirror\downloads\sha1” directory on the Server.
After you save the installer there, you need to rename the file “jre-6u18-windows-i586.exe” to “2ac1c99f4652b2a2aaa971c2d4a45ad78c6b3e0a”
The file is now cached on the server and can be pushed out.
