Hey Sidd. The Windows Console interface itself gives a warning when you statically target over 1000 endpoints at once.
For efficiency reasons, you should consider using a “By Property” form of targeting instead. Would you like to use this specific list anyway?
So, with that stance on targeting Dynamically via property or group membership, and additional best practice to not overload your infrastructure would be to leverage the “Stagger action start times over [ ] minutes to reduce network load” checkbox under the “Execution” tab when taking an action.
This will proportionally distribute your selected endpoints across that stagger time. Example is if you target 1000 endpoints and select a 60 minute stagger time, it will Take action on about 16-17 servers every minute. A larger stagger time would indicate fewer systems getting targeted simultaneously.
