I would like to be able to execute a Trend Micro scan on a workstation without using BigFix. If I am on a workstation how can I execute a Trend Micro scan? Is there a way to manually scan a specific directory or file?

You can use the “offer” functionality to have the user trigger BigFix to run a scan… You would do this the same as if you were going to trigger the scan in a normal action, but you will need to check the “make offer” box in the Take Action Dialog.

You can also apply a configuration task using the global settings wizard to accomplish your goal. Under 'client console settings, check the box for ‘Enable manual scan shortcut in windows explorer’.
